Plaque craftroom hanger

This weeks project is made using two Mdf plaques from Jamie Rogers Crafts.

I used the tile stamp collection and Jamie’s metallic black suede ink .

I also used the Brushed gold ink and letters from my stash. 

I stamped directly on the Mdf plaque using the tile collection stamps using the black suede ink 

I picked a decorative stamp from the tile collection

The black suede ink worked beautifully on the tag I built the pattern up to completely fill the large plaque.

Using brushed gold I inked Mdf letters I had in my stash 

Once I had decorated the tag as above I glued the letters on to the tag using Jamie’s glue. 

I glued both plaques onto each other and finished it off with gold brads and  

Once I was happy with my tag I added some twine as a hanger and my make was complete. 

 

 

JR Tile release.

 Hello today I’d like to bring you a little step by step of what I have been playing with today. 

I stamped the tile collection with love stamp in blank panther ink on to white card using the tile die I cut a

Pink die cut out to layer the stamped image onto 

I love how Jamie has provided us with matching dies and stencils really work great together 

Once I was happy with how this was going to look I got cutting my nesting layers out using 

Postage rectangles 

As you can see I thought a white and pink look for this card would work really well with the lovely metallic ink pad in brushed gold 

I used the tile stencil and the brushed gold to make myself a pretty background.

I them matted and layered my mats to make the card before adding the topper on. 

Using sprays and ink pads I coloured the stamped image in 

The finished card has been kept plain to allow the beautiful stamp used to be the main focus

Mdf Tag

Hello everyone ,

I have the privilege of joining Jamie Rogers Crafts Design team , so I thought I’d share one of the projects I have made using his fabulous stamps and Mdf.

I added cadence black gesso to the Mdf tag 

Then I stamped the beautiful lace border stamp twice onto white card using Jamie’s black panther ink pad

Once the gesso was dry I matted the lace stamp outs onto the tag. 

I then stamped the butterfly out and heat embossed it with clear embossing ink 

Cutting the middle of the butterfly out to make a smaller butterfly

I stamped and cut the hot air ballon out 

I then coloured the ballon using various markers and mounted it on pads to give it some height 

From my stash I found some pretty ribbon to tie in a bow and added some gold splats to add some more depth to my finished project.

Another week passes.

 Hello blogging friends ,

Another week passes can you believe that’s the nights drawing in and Christmas is like 59 days away I believe? Gosh! So I’m here with m pro markers challenge but before I show you what I’ve been up to with that I wanted to share this picture with you all 

I met a very dear crafting friend in the person for the first time on Thursday at the Glasgow craft show. Many will realise who I’m hugging the lovely Steph from highlightcrafts home of two red robin and other brands it was delightful to watch her paint. 

 Now onto pro markers the theme was anything goes with the added theme of use flowers I didn’t want to just do a flower card so I picked to colour this lovely clown  with a flower and added a flower onto my card to bring the theme in. Art by Andrea - Sheepski designs.

Last minute manda in the patch
