Not sure if its just me but i'd say it's cold again this morning reminded me of a crisp November Day It was freezing... Tomorrow is the 1st of May and it feels more like Winter. Going to add a spring card i entered into a comp, on the CB forum. Might help us all to feel more springy. **giggles**
Played with Ben in the back garden , He is so fast... i guess border collies need to be when working the sheep . We played fetch for a while then when i came in to make a cuppa i left him moping about in the garden. A little later i couldn't help giggling at him cause he was in full Collie mode stalking a poor blackbird .
He looked very annoyed when she flew onto the garage roof . I wish i had my camera. It's funny how nature can make you smile.
We are still doing the Attic this is turning into a big job , but i am determained to clear out as much as possible, My OH had an idea that he could use the Attic to house his computer thus giving me more room in the craft room , I think this is a very good idea .. I have so much crafty stash i have it stored in boxes , and it can be difficult to remember what i have.
I have always been creative , but up until a few years back i didn't do craft on the scale i do now, i didn't think i could afford to but then when i count up how i used to spend my money on doll's and teddies, plaster moulds and paints and baking. I can see that i could have started this a long time ago. I remember watching Dawn Bibby on Qvc and drooling at all the great products now we travel at least once a year to visit her shop and demo weekend just so i can stock up on more crafty stuff i never seem to use *wink.
Thats going to change this year I might even enter the crafter of the year comp.
Well with this post i guess i can say that this blog is living up to its name this sure is a ramble , but i hope it gave you a little insight and that you enjoyed reading it.
Thanks for visiting comments always welcome xx
Hello again Doodles! Great story about the blackbird stalking and no, the camera never seems handy just when you need it! We share a love of animals and nature so I shall enjoy you "ramblings" as you call them! Keep posting the pictures of the lovely cards. Lindsay x
ReplyDeletePS I have put a technique for creating Tartan backgrounds on my blog, though they may not be exactly authentic!
Hi Doodles
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a nice comment on my blog. I have taken out a few minutes to come and read your " ramblings". reading your story about our soldiers brought tears to my eyes and every one of them deserves a medal in my eyes.
I must say you have done better than me with your blog. I have been crafting for donkeys years and making cards for about 7 years. I have only just got round to sorting out my blog. I had a go a couple of years ago but was never really happy with it. A few weeks ago I decided to have another go and spent a solid week on getting it sorted out but I am so pleased with it.
Your tags have caught my eye they are lovely.I also love this Beatrice potter card. it is very pretty. I don't seem to be able to get round to making tags so maybe I shall have a go now.
