Well what a busy few months we have had. We decided to have a major clearout and then to decorate the hall. Ben had the hall carpet disgusting and I was fed up steaming it we hummed and howd a bit about what floor covering to use and in the end we decided a carpet was best because we didn't want Ben to slide and hurt himself.
So Kevin Painted the hall and we ordered our new carpet to come on the Tuesday of the following week, Then we decided to give the kitchen a quick freshen up ha-ha we don't do anything quick.. it grew arms and legs and before I knew it we had bought new vinyl for the floor and new appliances for the kitchen. I thought that was that but oh no lol we didn't stop there we then decided that our bedroom needed done so we ordered a new carpet and decorated the bedroom.
We wanted to keep the wall covering simple so We just added a soft coffee to the walls and then added a black and white border lol ... yes we did giggle at the black and white border because we also have the furry four legged black and white border ... collie. anyway the walls are simple so I could buy the wall art I had been drooling over.. I have added some photographs of our nearly finished bedroom all that's to be added is our black headboard to replace the fawn one.
The bed was no sooner made when the black and white one jumped on it to try it out. We also replaced all the internal doors and added a new banister because when our new carpet went down the old door would not fit. So We didn't stop there either the bathroom and living room have also been done and I'm really chuffed with how the house is looking now I will add more photographs once I take some and show you why I have had next to no time to craft in the two months since we started this project. How I have managed to do my sample work for my craft studio I will never know it was a night mare because the craft room had everything piled into it but it has since had a major revamp too. The house is all back to normal so here's hoping I'm back taking part in blog challenges and getting my charity cards done . Thanks for reading. xxx
It's looking GREAT, Sharon
