Summer colours

I honestly do not know where the weeks go. Can you believe the first week of June is nearly over ? The magazines and create and craft will bring us Christmas soon. I'm determined this year to give myself more time for my festive makes but I am not ready to start with all that this month enjoying playing with bright spring / summer colours and so far this year the last few days have felt warmer and more spring /summer like. My heating I hope is now off till the winter hits again normally by now its been off a few months but this years been too cold, even the wildlife and nature have noticed the woodland trees in front of our house have just got bloomed in the last few weeks and finally the bare brunches are filled with cherry blossoms and leaves.

The sunshine Inspired todays card, I used a Sherri Baldy digital Stamp which I coloured in with Pro Markers and Flex Markers and some sukura pens for highlights.

 

The close up is to show I have faux stitching in yellow down the side as 

 I am entering it to a challenge that suggested the theme.
