Chilean Rose Tarantula.

Hi blog readers,

I went out with my wee sister and my very beautiful little niece yesterday. The library was holding an event for children and they had a petting zoo... Well I held various animals.. A mouse, a snake, a gecko, etc. but the thing I'm most proud about doing is I actually stroked a chilean rose tarantula...

I hate hate hate spiders those that know me well will know I have phoned family members and got neighbours in to remove our spiders before now. I run out the room and won't go in if I see a spider in it all very silly but I honestly hate them. So because I had a four year old with me and I was trying very hard not to show fear I managed to do it and I'm rather pleased with myself and hope it's a step forward to fixing my irrational fear. ... I was going to post a picture but I know I have many friends like me that dislike spiders so I won't .
