Just playing.

Hello everyone,
Since revamping my craft room I have been finding beautiful paper books I forgot I had so I decide instead of always making cards I would try and up cycle some bits and bobs.

I bought this white mdf Letter rack from a bargain basement shop and decided I would change it up a little.

Here it is as I purchased it.
I lightly sanded it then I found some paper I like on this occasion it was some Craft work cards country garden papers I used.

I then measured the paper and backed the back board once the glue was dry I sealed it with watered down pva glue.

Then I used a Dulux Endurance Nut meg white paint to give it a hint of pink so it matched the backing paper.

Once that was dry I used some gold leaf foiled rub on's to decorate the post word at the front randomly.

I then cut out flowers using three sizes of a daisy punch then I added a flourish and made the flowers up gluing the Flowers to the back. Using a crafters companion clear sparkle pen I added some sparkle to the roses a few gems to finished and here is the finishing result.

I have now finished my second one and will be gifting them to my mum and mother in law as part of their mother's day gift.

I would love to know what you think and I hope you find my tutorial useful.
Thank you for visiting
Happy Crafting.
