Playing with messy stuff.

Hello Everyone, I am a bit stressed right now with various things going on so
I have decided after watching the lovely Julie Hickery's facebook live, that I would have
a play with some wow embossing powder, pixie powders , distress inks etc and make some
different kind of cards. I am normally a clean crafter but today I got inky.

This first Picture shows you my desk before I started playing.

I cut a fancy rectangle out of Crafter Companions water colour card I find this the best
water colour card. I then stamped my parrot twice once with black ink that I cut out to use as a mask.
The second time I stamped it onto the water colour card using the embossing ink pad so I could sprinkle Wow's Metallic gold rich fine powder on it. Then I was able to heat emboss my parrot.

Once heat embossed I added my mask and started to spray water and pixie powders onto the card to make a rich vibrant colourful back ground.

Once the background was how I liked it I matted onto black card and added the word in black for a vibrant father's day card. I pulled colour from the card to colour the parrot and used sparkle pens to add a hint of sparkle.

The Hello card was mainly as above although towards the end of the back ground making I sprinkled some water on and shook my embossing powder onto the card to add further detail.

I am happy enough for my first attemps but i can see so flaws I'd like to improve on next time around.
I hope you like this idea and if you haven't tried it before feel inspired to play.

I am going to enter these into the following challenges.

Many thanks for visiting my blog I hope you will leave me a comment so I know you popped by
